The Hawker Street Sales Management System is designed to help those distributors that deliver papers and collect from retail outlets and paper boxes. The biggest benefit of using this system is the huge amount of time it saves in processing the necessary paperwork as required by the publisher for tracking sales and returned papers.
As with any business, you need customers to serve. The Vendor record records all necessary information on your customer base. Vendors can be Retail Store Outlets or Street Sales Boxes. Predefined default entries for total papers delivered, makes it easy to record daily sales and returns.
Daily Tracking is recorded through the use of this Tracking Table and Input Record. By simply entering the desired date, the delivery defaults are automatically filled in for you. You just need to enter the number of returns for the date entered. When it comes time to bill your stores, Hawker produces to following invoice:
Each account's history is also accessible through this
screen. Whenever you need a printed copy of an account's history, you can
print a Statement for any period of time that you desire.
